From Paris to Berlin by bicycle

To Travel from Paris to Berlin turned out to be the greatest adventure I ever experienced. Not only that I never thought ever to go all that way from one world capital to the other on an shabby old bike. However, there really was no possibilty to catch a flight on that snowy day and hundereds of passengers were waiting in Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, gathering together like little chaps.

I simply didn’t have the Time to wait, my apointment in Berlin was more than urgent, it would decide on my future life. As also all trains were delayed and most of them outranged for weather reasons, I  tried to find a Car Leasing Company and told myself to take everything no matter how slow or expensive unless it takes me from Paris to Berlin in the next hours. How could it be different, the last car was just given away to an old man about to go to Russia. I´m sorry, he said, but if you wanna, you can take my old bike. I aint gonna need it anymore. Well, I was desperate, so deparate in fact that I simply took the joky offer serious hopped on the bike and off I went, from Berlin to Paris on a bicycle.

The people and landscapes one get to to know while wheeling through them are astonishing. Normally one never takes the time to put special regard in its sorrounding. I flew that way Paris Berlin so many times in the past but I never knew how much Beauty is to find here, how interesting cities and villages lie here, how interesting and exciting it all can be from a different perspective.  Thanks to the old man from Russia I became an expert for that distance and now offer Adventure tours for couraged people called From Paris to Berlin in one day!
